Best guest house we've stayed in yet,in all the years of visiting Whitby. Martyn and Paula (and Millie!) are very welcoming and friendly hosts. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. We had a lot of choices for breakfast, I chose a bacon butty, with the bacon cooked just how I like it, all crispy! We were able to park in a lock up yard, which makes a big difference where places to park are hard to come by. Definitely stay here on our next visit 😊

What a gem of a place. Stayed here for 3 nights in March. We stayed in room 5, which we found to be spacious, very comfortable and with a well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. We was welcomed by the owner Martyn who was accompanied by Millie, the gorgeous pet dog, Although the main parking is on the street a parking permit is supplied by Martyn. The rest of our stay was started each day with a fantastic breakfast expertly prepared by Paula. I would have absolutely no hesitation of recommending this guest fantastic guest house.

Love it here, so homely, lovely people, just walking distance from town. This is our home now when we come to Whitby, since Bats and broomsticks closed down in Whitby..

2/7/23 great b&b. Hosts Martyn/Paula very friendly Place was spotless, nice rooms, all facilities, TV etc. Super breakfast of your choice Parking on street with permit given for length of stay. Situated a 10 min walk( down a street with shops/ bars to harbour in centre. Alternatively left out of building to the crescent and down to the harbour same distance.A hop on/off bus does trips around town( an hour if you stay on ) Try The Whitby brewery just behind the Abbey. The Arch and Abbey wine bar, on the way back to b&b. Any fish/ chip shop, all brilliant. Would recommend Ellies. Dave& Linda, Oldham.

Stayed for an out of season birthday weekend in Whitby. It a was lovely place, catered for my partners Vegetarian breakfast as well as providing her with full fat milk as she does not drink hot drinks . Its in a great location so not too far to walk to the town, and was open most weekends in the winter. Our room was the last available when we booked so a little small, but comfortable. Highly recommended . We would go back if we visit Whitby again

My partner and I have just had another great stay at Ellies bnb in Whitby the best place to stay in Whitby,Martin and Paula are the perfect owners can't do enough for the guests rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, breakfast is beautiful we couldn't stay anywhere this good Thankyou both for having us again x

ハロウィンの時期に2泊しました。部屋はとても清潔で美しく、置いてあるアレクサで色々な音楽をかけてゆったり過ごすことができました。 朝食は3種類から選べるので２日間で違うメニューをオーダーしました。 オーナーはとてもフレンドリーで会話も優しく楽しく、心地が良かったです。ハロウィンに合わせた楽しい装飾があちこちにあり、それも楽しみました。 静かで穏やかなウィットビーの滞在が、ここに泊まることで更に素敵な思い出となり心に残りました。 またいつかこの街を訪れたら再訪したいです。

We stayed here for 3 nights from Sunday 25th September. Very nice clean guest house. Nothing was to much trouble for Martin and Paula. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms are nice an clean. Can't complement them enough. Such lovely people with a lovely guest house. Brilliant Hosts. Highly Recommended.

Stayed in a few places over the years in whitby but first time in this and so far very happy nice people very accommodating for my needs and very reasonably priced and very clean i will be coming back to ellies guests house again next year
